Blue-C: Non-Alcoholic Cannabis Infused Beer
For this project made during the fourth semester, we were tasked with creating 3 different cannabis-infused beverages under one company for the Wasaga Beach Brewing Company. With the help of two classmates, we came up with the company ‘Blue-C’; a play on ‘blue sea’. We came up with 3 flavoured beverages – a blood orange “Orange Spike” seltzer, a berry lime “Ocean Spritz” lemonade, and a “Toe Dipper” cerveza. I designed the cans’ packaging, keeping them all a similar design while differentiating each one with a mix of colours and small details that worked with each name. Then we made merchandise for the Blue-C company, as well as point-of-purchase kiosks and a website mockup.
Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter
Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter Blend is an organic hazelnut spread rivaling Nutella. As a project during the third semester, we were tasked with creating advertisements for a food product of our choice – and I chose Justin’s. I wanted to create something playful yet simple. I wanted to focus on the fact that it is an organic product. I chose my tagline and used utensils throughout my designs to play on that. To incentivize customers to try this product, I chose to use QR codes under the lid of each product, where, when scanned, customers had the potential to win various swag or even 1-of-5 dream vacation packages!
