Redesigned 2025 Tiguan Test Drive Event - PVW
For Pickering VW, the 2025 Tiguan was a big deal – it had a complete redesign for both its exterior and interior, adding a plethora of new features. To showcase all these changes, and so customers could experience them hands-on, we chose to run a Tiguan test drive event. This was my email blast made in Constant Contact, sent out to our entire customer list, inviting customers to the event. I chose to use a lot of lifestyle images to really showcase the difference of the Tiguan in real life.
Pickering Volkswagen Parts Specials - September
To showcase Pickering VW’s parts specials for September 2024, I chose to use a back-to-school theme similar to my Sales email I have created for them. I kept it in a similar branding while also rebranding to keep it unique and its own entity. I used a subtle paper-lined background and thick fonts to give it a ‘hand-drawn’ touch. We really wanted to showcase our Winter Tires, and get people thinking about it early, so we emphasized a Winter Tire Pre-Sale, where the winter tire packages section take up a third of the email blast. I even made the buttons look like pencils.
Pickering Volkswagen June Specials
For my Pickering VW Sales Specials email blast for June 2025, I chose to go with a summer, beachy theme, and showcasing our pre-owned 2019 VW Beetle on the header, as that felt like a perfect summer-themed vehicle, as well as a hot commodity, considering VW had stopped producing the Beetle in 2019 it is now a rare find. We had finally gotten the newly redesigned 2025 Tiguan in stock, and wanted to highlight that throughout the blast so I chose to add some red into the mix to stand out.
Pickering Volkswagen October Specials
For Pickering Volkswagen’s Sales Specials for the month of October, I wanted to go with a Halloween theme to represent the month. I chose a colour-scheme of primarily purples and oranges, and a subtle yet striking Halloween-patterned background. For our top image, introducing the management team with their bitmojis, I stylized that to be a bit more ‘spooky’ as well. Even the exclamation marks highlighting the savings for each vehicle are designed to look a bit like candy corn.

For my Pickering VW Sales Specials email blast for September 2024, I wanted to go with a theme that fit the season while at the same time looking appealing and drawing the customer into reading through the entire email. I chose to do a back-to-school theme, including chalkboards, chalk-like fonts, and a simple colour theme of dark green, a yellowish orange, and a pink, which I thought looked like a pencil and an eraser. In the end, this email did end up drawing people in, so mission accomplished.
PVW - Beat the Heat Summer Extravaganza
Halfway through the month of August 2024, Volkswagen Canada upped their incentives on select models, and to let customers know about these increased offers through Pickering VW, I came up with the VW Summer Cash Extravaganza email blast – a bold, eye-catching graphic up top to draw the viewer in, and our offers laid out in simple red bullet points. That way, the customer knows exactly what they get, before even reading the entire email. Short, simple, effective.
